Meet the Team

Ashley Stevens

Owner

Ashley is a Des Moines native who graduated from Dowling Catholic in 2006. Right after high school Ashley enrolled in the massage therapy program at Body Wisdom Massage School and graduated in 2007. Ashley opened Hush in 2012. In 2015 she enrolled in Iowa School of Beauty to receive her Esthetician License, which she graduated with in 2016. In 2019 Ashley hired her first employee and had her daughter that same year. Since 2019 Hush has grown a lot and Ashley’s passion for skin care, self care, and helping women enhance their natural beauty has also grown! Her goal is to provide you with excellent customer service while also providing a relaxing environment without sacrificing results. Ashley cares deeply for her clients and employees. Here at Hush, we want you to walk away feeling rejuvenated and as if you were transported somewhere else if only for an hour.

Stormie Case

Esthetician

Stormie is originally from Iowa and graduated from PCI Academy in September 2021 with her esthetician license. She has always had a love for the beauty industry, and she found her home in the spa treatment room. She loves being able to provide a place for people to come and find some guidance in their skin while being in full relaxation! Stormie's specialties are brazilian waxing and waxing in general, along with facials.

Shelby Porter

Esthetician

Shelby is a West Des Moines native who graduated from Valley High School. Shelby graduated from The Aveda Institute of Des Moines in 2020. Her passion came from wanting to grow more comfortable within her own skin. She is so happy that she can now share this with others through specialized facials, waxing, lash lifts and tints, and brow services. In her free time, she enjoys continuing her education in the esthetics field. She also loves to paint and be creative through make-up. Shelby’s motto is “ Look good, feel good.”

Paige Vasey

Esthetician

Paige is an Iowa native who graduated from East High School, and she’s a graduate of Iowa School of Beauty with her esthetician license. Her passion comes from wanting others to feel beautiful inside and out starting with their skin health, concerns, and repair. In her free time she’s busy with her 2 year old daughter Gianna who keeps her busy! She also enjoys spending lots of free time with Gianna’s cousins. Nothing is more important to her than family and skin care. Paige specializes in microdermabrasion, microcurrent, waxing, lash lifts and lash and eyebrow tinting.

Maddison Danti

Esthetician & Massage Therapist

My name is Maddi: I started doing esthetics in 2020, I love every single minute of being in the treatment room with my clients. I am passionate about making others feel confident in their skin and being able to take away every day stresses for a moment. Some of my favorite services to do on the skincare side include, any type of chemical peel, or Brazilian wax. I decided I wanted more out of my esthetic career and wanted to treat my clients all in one. I joined Iowa School of Beauty in April 2023, I am working towards earning my massage license in mid October. I am extremely passionate about understanding the body, and being able to relieve my clients of the pain or tension they experience.

Ashlynn Shivers

Esthetician & Massage Therapist

Good Vibrations to you all! My name is Ashlynn I am a licensed massage therapist and licensed esthetician. I graduated in 2018 for massage from La James International College in Fort Dodge, IA and have been practicing since January of 2019. I love everything about massage, the power of touch is a very strong sense and one we adapt to quickly in life. My technique is very unique if I do say so myself. I like to incorporate Swedish, deep tissue and a little bit of holistic healing meaning I let my body listen to what YOUR BODY NEEDS:) I am also a licensed esthetician, I graduated from Iowa School of Beauty in February 2021 and I have learned with that license I have found my passion with that as well.
