At Hush, we use both dermaplaning and microdermabrasion to help our clients achieve healthy, vibrant skin. Both therapies scour away dead skin and debris on the face, but they use different methods to do so. Each has its uses in different applications, and our estheticians are highly trained to determine which therapy or combination of therapies will get you your desired results.
For dermaplaning, we use a scalpel to remove the peach fuzz (vellus hair) and layers of dead skin cells from your face. This delicate process softens the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and leaves skin immediately smooth and vibrant. Microdermabrasion, on the other hand, is an advanced skin care technology. A diamond-tipped device deeply exfoliates while mechanical suction removes dead skin cells and blackheads, improving tone, texture, and more!
